Brunei Summary

Phew! Finally I'm back from Brunei. I'm now on a 10 day vacation. Yippee! Here's what happened to me in Brunei.

29th & 30th April:

Fly off to Brunei @ 0230hrs
Landed @ Brunei on same day
Bus + Ferry + Bus (3-4 hours!!!)
Reached Lakiun camp -Settle down -"PIE": Main road!-Damn steep! + "Holland Road": Road to cookhouse and canteen!
Pacing course
Jungle walk

1st May-3rd May: -Ex Nomad

Heavy load: Barang Barang like food, tidbits, field equipments etc
Rubbish inspection: 100% check. If 1 packet of Oreo out, 1 wrapper of oreo must be back!
Ho-lland: 1st day no checkpoint found!
harbour-Sleep in hammock.

2nd day:

SGT go cheong. Found 3 Checkpoint + 1 midpoint in a day. (But so? Still genak Corrective Training. Lucky only commanders need to go. Phew!)
Harbour @ Checkpoint 1. Rain @ night. Sleep on ground sheet, genak insect bite and sleep on uneven ground. Sianz.

3rd Day:

Try to find end point.
Meet PC's group.
Set off together. Take photo.
Cannot find end point. Head to zebu trail. Reached there about 5pm. Shag.

4th May: JV

UH1H ride is shiok

Bo liao live firing.

2hrs trail oit....walk like siao. KNNZ. Rain somemore. Slippery ground. Slip like siao

5th May:

Setup "spencer"
Rain again
Tiring + Wet
Genak arrow to harbour @ "Spencer"

6th May:

Setup "Spencer" again
Rain again!
Sleep in bunk. Finally!

7th May:

Birthday! (21st birthday!)
Stay @ "Spencer" AGAIN!
Something happen and I genak punish to stand in rain as sentry for 2 hours. damn!

8th May:

Alpha attack "Spencer"

9th May:

Charlie attack "Spencer"
Tear down "Spencer"
Rain again. KNNZ

10th May:

Setup "Cynthia"
Stay in bunk
Standby area. Knnz.

11th May:

Slack in morning
Enemy @ "Cynthia"

12th May:

Enemy @ "Cynthia"

13th May:

Packing up
Clean up "Spencer"

14th May:

Clean up "Spencer" and "Cynthia"
Packing up

15th May:

Go to Jalan Aman camp
R&R
Go visit Sultan morsque and many places.....Nice food also!

16th May:

Fly home

Now at airport

For the 1st time ever, I'm going to fly. It is a trip of mixed feelings. Will be flying on SIA economy class. Nice. But this trip will take me to Brunei for my overseas training. So a bit sian lah. Will be away for 16 days. Will be back in Singapore on 16th May @ 0730hrs. So till then, no net for me.....boohoo.... Well, my flight is at 0230hrs and I will need to go into the gate at 0130hrs. So now typing this at the airport before I go. So till then, see ya all when I am back. Tata!!!
